鉛山鉱山(小坂町) (Namariyama Kōzan)

鉛山鉱山は秋田県鹿角郡小坂町にあった鉱山。銅・鉛・亜鉛が採掘された。 1665(寛文5)年発見。近代に入り1913~1914(大正2~3)年、久原鉱業(株)が開発に着手するも第一次大戦後の不況により中止。1939(昭和14)年、伊藤喜三が試掘鉱区出願。1941(昭和16)年、三善鉱業(株)が200t/月出鉱。1944(昭和19)年、大同殖産(株)が買収し採掘着手するが、終戦と同時に休山。 1951(昭和26)年10月、日本鉱業が買収し鉛山鉱業(株)を設立、1952(昭和27)年2月に出鉱開始。1959(昭和34)年、秋田県の協力により鉛山~発荷峠間に除雪車が配備され通年運行可能となる。1960(昭和35)年4月、月産粗鉱量1,500t。1963(昭和38)年4月、月産粗鉱量2,000t。 1969(昭和44)年10月、銀山鉱床開発着手。1972(昭和47)年7月、鉛山鉱床鉱量枯渇のため銀山鉱床へ移行、8月より出鉱を開始。 1985(昭和60)年閉山。 鉛山鉱業は現役企業であり現地で操業している。

In October 1951, Nippon Mining acquired the Lead Mountain Mining Co., Ltd., and mining started in February 1952. In 1959, in cooperation with Akita prefecture, snow removal vehicles were deployed between Lead Mountain and Shinkansen Pass, making it possible to operate all year round. In April 1960, monthly crude ore volume 1,500 t. In April 1963, the monthly crude ore volume was 2,000 t. Ginzan ore development started in October 1969 (Showa 44). In July 1972, due to depletion of Lead Mountain ore deposits, we moved to the Ginzan Deposit and started mining from August. Closed mountain in 1985 (Showa 60). Lead Mountain Mining is an active company and operates locally.
