小舟鉱業所新坑 (Kofune Kōgyō Sho Shin Ana)

小舟鉱業所新坑は、福岡県嘉麻市平に残る炭鉱坑口跡。三井山野鉱業小舟炭鉱。坑口上部に「尺無坑本卸」とある。藪に埋もれている。 1918(大正7)年、平地区に上石累層の小舟層沿層採炭坑として開坑。当初は山野第五坑(第一小舟坑)だった。後に山野第二坑と改称。1953(昭和28)年に休止するも、1956(昭和31)年に子会社化し三井山野鉱業所より分離。1966(昭和41)年11月、本坑ガス爆発事故後、閉山。 近くには運炭線の煉瓦橋梁、送風機室の他、動物園の檻跡が残る。
