大峰鉱山(釜石鉱山) (Ōmine Kōzan)

大峰鉱山(ラサ工業株式会社大峰工業所)は岩手県遠野市にあった鉱山。 天正年間(1573-1592)の金山開発に始まる。万延元年(1860)頃、洋式高炉が築かれ、鉄鉱石を原料とした鉄の生産が明治7年(1874)まで続いた。その後、鉱脈が発見され銅鉱山として探鉱開始。 昭和3年(1928)にラサ工業の所有となり、戦後一時休山。昭和27年(1952)再開、東洋鉱山の所有となるも、昭和30年(1955)ラサ工業が東洋鉱山を吸収合併し再びラサ工業の所有となる。 主に黄銅鉱で、キューバ鉱、班鋼鉱で金、銀を含有。 昭和55年(1980)閉山(昭和46年とも)。 地図位置に零米坑があり、関連施設遺構が残る。また、日鉄大峰坑(釜石鉱山)には二つの坑口、トロッコ用レール跡などが見られる。佐比内鉱山とも呼ばれる。すぐ近くに赤岩鉱山(赤岩鉄坑)もある。 (釜石市の釜石鉱山とは別鉱山である)

Omine mine (Kamaishi mine)

Omine mine (Lasa Kogyo Co., Ltd. Omine Industrial Co., Ltd.) was a mine in Tono city, Iwate prefecture. It starts with Jinshan development of Tensho year (1573-1592). Around 1860, a Western-style blast furnace was built and iron production using iron ore continued until 1874 in Meiji 7. After that, a vein was discovered and exploration started as a copper mine. It was owned by Lhasa Industry in 1928 and was temporarily closed after the war. Restarted in 1952, owned by Toyo Mine, 1955 (1955) Lhasa Industry absorbed Oriental mine and became owned by Lhasa Industry again. Mainly chalcopyrite, Cuba ore, group steel ore contain gold and silver. Showa era 55 years (1980) Closing mountain (in 1962). There is a US U.S. pit in the map position, and the related facility remains. In addition, there are two wellheads, rail tracks for trucks, etc. at the Nippon Steel Omine pit (Kamaishi mine). It is also called Samachi mine. Akawa mine (Akaiwa Iron Pit) is also located in the immediate vicinity. (It is a different mine from the Kamaishi mine in Kamaishi city)
