荒川鉱山(いちき串木野市) (Arakawa Kōzan)

荒川鉱山は鹿児島県いちき串木野市にあった鉱山。 串木野鉱山西山坑の北西部1Kmに位置し、金・銀が採掘された。 明治年間に個人によって開発され、1932年(昭和7年)より日本鉱業(後のジャパンエナジー)が経営。 1955年(昭和30年)に休山するが、後に三井串木野鉱山が買収。西山坑と内部で接続され、荒川斜坑などが設けられた。 1989年(平成元年)に採掘中止。

Arakawa Mine (Ichikikushikino-shi)

Arakawa mine was a mine in Ichikikushikino city, Kagoshima prefecture. Kushikino Mine Located 1 km northwest of Nishiyama pit, gold and silver were mined. It was developed by individuals during the Meiji era and managed by Japan Mining (later Japan Energy) from 1932 (Showa 7). It is closed in 1955 (Showa 30 years), but later Mitsui Kushikino mine acquired. It is internally connected to Nishiyama minor, Arakawa Opaque etc. were established. 1989 (Heisei first year) was stopped mining.
