舟戸集落 (Funato Shūraku)

舟戸集落は高知県吾川郡仁淀川町にある廃村集落。 国道33号の旧道部分に位置しており、1890(明治23)年に旧国道が開通すると旅館や商店が建ち渡し舟で対岸へ渡る人達の玄関口として栄えた。 しかし、国道から対岸の地域へ橋が架かると玄関口としての役目がそちらに移り、さらには1968(昭和43)年に着工した大渡ダムの完成後は水没する為、全面移転の地域に指定された事から1976(昭和51)年頃に無人となり廃村になったという。 水の少ない時期には旧道と共に姿を現す為、集落は草に覆われているものの、現在でも鳥居やコンクリート製の建物などが残っている様子が確認できる。
