物部村立別府小学校 (Monobe Sonritsu Beppu Shōgakkō)

物部村立別府小学校は高知県香美市にあった学校。国道195号沿いの高台に位置する。 学校の統合が進む中、徳島県境まで約4kmと旧物部村内で最も東側に位置し、統合先の大栃小学校への通学が不便なことから村内でも一番最後の休校となったが、休校時でも5名の生徒が在籍していたという。 また、生徒数のピークは小学校が1962(昭和37)年で86名、中学校が別府分校時代の1957(昭和32)年で85名であったという。 1897(明治30)年、別府部落私設教授所として、当時の香美郡槙山村に開校。 1903(明治36)年、第三尋常小学校別府分教場となる。 1930(昭和5)年、別府尋常小学校となる。 1941(昭和16)年、 第七国民学校となる。 1947(昭和22)年、6.3制の義務教育制発足の際に槙山村立別府小学校となる。 1955(昭和30)年、別府青年団の建物を借用し、岡ノ内中学校別府分校を別府小学校に併設、開校。 1956(昭和31)年、槙山村が上韮生村と合併して物部村が発足した事により、「物部村立別府小学校」となる。 1958(昭和33)年、中学校の校舎新築。 1961(昭和36)年、岡ノ内中学校・別府分校が「物部村立別府中学校」として独立。 1985(昭和60)年、大栃中学校に統合され別府中学校が廃校。 1996(平成8)年、別府小学校が休校。 2003(平成15)年、大栃小学校に統合され別府小学校が廃校。

Beppu Elementary School

Bebepu Elementary School is a school located in Kami City, Kochi Prefecture. Located on a hill along National Route 195. As the school integration progressed, it was about 4km to Tokushima border, located on the eastern side of the old part of the village, and it was inconvenient to go to Otochi Elementary School. In 1947 (Showa 22), when the compulsory education system of 6.3 system was established, it became Hiyama Village Beppu Elementary School. In 1955, the building of the Beppu Youth Group was rented, and the Okanouchi Junior High School Beppu Branch School was attached to Beppu Elementary School. In 1956 (Showa 31), Hiyama Village merged with Kamikosei Village, and the establishment of Motobu Village became “Bebe Elementary School Beppu Elementary School”. In 1958 (Showa 33), a new school building was built. In 1961, Okanouchi Junior High School and Beppu Branch School became independent as “Motobe Village Beppu Junior High School”. In 1985 (Showa 60), Beppu Junior High School was closed to Otochi Junior High School. In 1996, Beppu Elementary School was closed. In 2003, Beppu Elementary School was closed to Otochi Elementary School.
