国道33号旧道大渡ダム水没区間 (Kokudō 33 Gō Kyūdō Ōdo Damu Suibotsu Kukan)

国道33号旧道大渡ダム水没区間は高知県吾川郡仁淀川町大尾から橘までの約2.9kmの区間。 現在の道路よりもかなり低い位置の川岸にあり、1968(昭和43)年に着工した大渡ダムの完成後に水没してしまうため、1969(昭和44)年より道路の改良を兼ねた付け替え工事が始まり、1975(昭和50)年9月に現在の国道部分が完成し旧道となった。 水の少ない時期には道路や集落の跡が姿を現し、対岸から道路や集落の遺構を見る事ができる。 この旧道には現在も距離標や落石覆い、支柱の四角いガードレールが残っている。 また、周囲には昔の生活道路やダム建設のための連絡道路の水没区間が複数存在する。 地図は大尾側分岐。橘側分岐(☆マーカー)から100mほど先の別枝大橋の下まではストリートビューで入っていける。

Route 33 National Road Odori Daeda Dam submarine section is a section of about 2.9 km from Otou to Tachibana, Niogodogawa-cho, Agakawa-gun, Kochi Prefecture. Since it is on the riverbank which is considerably lower than the current road and it is submerged after completion of the Oda dam which was started in 1968 (Showa 43), from 1969 (Showa 44) the replacement work which doubled as improvement of the road started from 1969 , The current national highway part was completed and became the old road in September 1975 (Showa 50). Traces of roads and settlements appear in periods of low water, and you can see the remains of roads and communities from the other side. There is still a distance mark, a falling rock covering, and a square guardrail of the support still in this old road. In addition, there are multiple submerged sections of old roads for living and communal roads for dam construction. The map branches to Ooo branch.
