東栄鉱山 (Tōei Kōzan)

東栄鉱山は青森県青森市にあった鉱山。 東岳周辺では1897(明治30)年頃に鉄鉱石が発見され、1917(大正6)年6月より東岳鉱山として操業開始。第一世界大戦後の恐慌により1920(大正9)年閉山。 1936(昭和11)年に、軍需景気により再開。銅鉱、石灰石と併せて採掘され、1940年頃に東栄鉱山と改称された。1953年閉山。 昭和50年頃の空中写真には施設跡が見られるが現況不詳。

Toei mine

Toei mine was a mine in Aomori, Aomori Prefecture. In the vicinity of Higashidake Iron ore was discovered around 1897 (Meiji 30) and started operating as Higashidake mine since June 1917 (Taisho 6). Closed mountain in 1920 (Taisho 9) year due to the depression after the First World War. In 1936 (Showa 11), resumed by the military economy. It was mined together with copper ore and limestone, and it was renamed Toei mine around 1940. Closed mountain in 1953. In the aerial photograph of around 1955, the site of the facility can be seen, but the present condition is unknown.
