佐井鉱山 (Sai Kōzan)

佐井鉱山は青森県下北郡佐井村にあった鉱山。 明治20年に鉱区が設定される。大正2年には20t熔鉱爐が建設されて採掘が進んだが大正9年に休業。昭和15年に再開、戦事中稼行された。 昭和27年日窒鉱業株式会社が稼行に着手。年間2,000t の処理能力をもつ浮游選鉱場を設備し、精鉱として月産銅鉱約100t、亜鉛鉱約50~60tを産出していた。 他に重晶石が採掘されたらしい。 現況不詳。

Sai mine

Sai mine was a mine located in Sai village in Shimokita-gun, Aomori Prefecture. A mining area is set up in 1898. In the Taisho era 2 year, 20t smelting furnace was constructed and mining progressed but it was closed in Taisho 9th. Restarted in 1955, it was executed during the fight. Showa 27 Nikko Mining Industries Co., Ltd. began operation. We installed a floating concentrating facility with a capacity of 2,000 tons per year, producing about 100 tons of copper ore per month and about 50 to 60 tons of zinc ore as concentrate. Besides, it seems that the baryteite has been mined. Current situation unknown.
