野尻森林鉄道(木曽川橋梁) (Nojiri Shinrin Tetsudō)

野尻森林鉄道は中央西線野尻駅を起点とする野尻営林署管轄の森林鉄道。阿寺線、北沢線、柿其線(かきぞれせん)、北沢視線、殿線等から構成されていた。 1901(明治34)年に皇室所有の阿寺御料林に敷かれた軽便軌道を前身とする。1920(大正9)年には森林鉄道としては初のガソリン機関車を導入、翌1921(大正10)年には木曽川に鉄橋を架橋し直接野尻駅に乗り入れた。 トラック輸送に取って代わられ1965(昭和40)年に廃止。 地図は代表的な遺構である木曽川橋梁。中央はプラットトラス、両端は上路ワーレントラスとなっている。
