池島団地は、長崎県長崎市の池島鉱山にあった鉱山住宅跡。 池島炭鉱は1952（昭和27）年開発開始、1959（昭和34）年出炭開始。最盛期には住民登録だけで8千人、従業員は2万5千人に達した。 2001（平成13）年、九州の炭鉱の中では最後に閉山した。 池島自体には現在も居住者がおり、すべてが廃墟なわけではない。 衛星写真からでも確認できる。
The Ikeshima Complex is a mine housing trace located at the Ikeshima mine in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The Ikeshima Coal Mine started development in 1952 (Showa 27), and began to produce charcoal in 1959 (Showa 34). In the peak period, the number of residents only reached 8,000 and the number of employees reached 25,000. In 2001, in the coal mine in Kyushu, it lastly closed down. Ikeshima itself still has residents, not everything is ruined. It can also be confirmed from satellite photos.
