旧浦上天主堂鐘楼 (Kyū Urakami Tenshudō Shurō)

旧浦上天主堂鐘楼は、長崎県長崎市にある浦上天主堂の旧鐘楼。 原爆によって吹き飛ばされた天主堂の鐘楼の一部が、天主堂の北方約30mの地点に落下したもの。被爆当時の位置は小川の中であったが、現在は川を整備して流れをずらすことで陸地に保存されている。被爆時のままに保存されている唯一の旧天主堂本体の遺構である。

The former Urakami Cathedral bell tower

The former Urakami Cathedral Bell tower is the former bell tower of Urakami Cathedral in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. A part of the bell tower of the Buddhist temple blown off by the atomic bomb dropped to the point about 30 m north of the church. The position at the time of the atomic bombing was in Ogawa, but now it is preserved in the land by maintaining the river and shifting the flow. It is the only remains of the former church that is kept as it was at the time of the atomic bombing.
