大串鉱山(西海市) (Ōgushi Kōzan)

大串鉱山は長崎県西海市(旧・西彼杵郡西彼村)にあった鉱山。大串金山とも呼ばれる。 金が採掘された。寛永4年(1627)から約40年間が最盛期であった。 喰場郷字中ノ島には高さ1.7m、幅0.7m、奥行150m余の坑道を含め3箇所、鳥加郷では字金山・コウモリ谷・平島・湧上リの海辺に坑口が残る。大串郷では、坑口はほとんど塞がれている。

Ogushi Mine (Saikai City)

Okushi mine was a mine located in Saikai-shi, Nagasaki prefecture (formerly Nishisonosu-gun Nishio Village). Also called Ogushi Kanayama. Gold was mined. About 40 years since the 4th year of Kaninaga (1627) was at its peak. In the Nitinoshima Island, there are three wells, including 1.7 m in height, 0.7 m in width and 150 m in depth, including three tunnels, and in the birds and beaches, the well head is left in the seaside of Hanjinshan, Bat Valley, Hirishima and Uchisari. In Okushigo, the wellhead is almost blocked.
