(Yabuzuka Ishikiriba Ato)

Mining started small scale from the middle of the Meiji era, it became full-scale since the establishment of Yabutsuka Stone Co., Ltd. in Meiji 36 year. The material was soft and easy to work and the price was reasonable, so it was used for the foundation of the building and Kamado. When the Tobu Railway was laid in Taisho 2nd year, the sales route expanded and had 350 workers. However, Yubisaka Stone has weakness in water, there are small pebbles inside and there are many cracks, and labor costs are applied compared with Oya stone of the same quality, gradually declining. It closed down around 1954. There is a majesty like an ancient ruin at the site of the quarry. There seems to be an unknown unusual remains and abandoned houses in the vicinity that seems to be related to the stone scenery. It is introduced as Crescent Moon (San ○ Tsumura). As of September 2018, entry into the area is prohibited due to damage to the tree road.
