Taigo Line Taishi Station

This Ohshi line (Osashin, former National Railway Naganohara line) was a waste line that was in Agatsuma-gun, Gumma Prefecture. Initially started as a freight line of Nippon Steel Corporation, in order to transport iron ore from Gunma Iron Mountain. In 1952, it was transferred to the JNR and it was operated as the Naganohara line and passenger transport started two years later, but the demand disappeared due to ironing due to resource depletion, and it became a disused line in 1971. From the current Nagano - Kusatsuguchi station, it was the route connecting this Taishi station.
