四万鉱山 (Yon Man Kōzan)

四万鉱山(しまこうざん)は群馬県吾妻郡中之条町にあった鉱山。 第二次世界大戦中に四万鉱山として開発され昭和27年頃まで断続的に稼行されたらしい。昭和28~29年、小池物産により再開されたものの以後休山。昭和54年に四万鉱山により再開され、以後年間500t~1,000t程度が生産されていた。 葉ろう石、金紅石、チタン石、黄鉄鉱、赤鉄鉱、デュモルチ石を産出。

40 thousand mines

A 40,000 mine (Shizuzan) was a mine located in Nakanojo-machi, Agatsuma-gun, Gumma Prefecture. It seems that it was developed as a 40,000 mine during the Second World War and was intermittently operated around 1952. It was closed after Showa 28 - 29, although it was resumed by Koike product. It was resumed by the 40 thousand mine in 1976, and 500 to 1,000 t annually was produced thereafter. Leaf wax rock, goldenstone, titanium stone, pyrite, red iron ore, duromorchite produced.
