松川鉱山 (Matsukawa Kōzan)

松川鉱山は福島県福島市にあった鉱山。金・銀が採掘された。 鎌倉時代の発見と伝えられ、戦国時代は会津の蒲生氏によって経営された。大正初期に再開され、昭和3年に瑞宝鉱業(株)の経営に移り、昭和9年には青化製錬場が設けられたが昭和18年の金山整備令により休山。現在も製錬所跡が残り、青化製錬用のタンクが林の中に見られる。 付近には金谷川鉱山・松川北鉱山・松川南鉱山・小池鉱山・信夫鉱山などがあった。

Matsukawa mine

Matsukawa mine was a mine in Fukushima city, Fukushima Prefecture. Gold and silver were mined. It was reported as the discovery of the Kamakura period, and was operated by Mr. Gamo of Aizu during the Warring States Period. It was resumed in the early Taisho era, shifted to the management of Ruiho Mining Co., Ltd. in 1953, and a blue smelting factory was established in 1969, but it was closed due to the Kanayama maintenance order in 1964. The smelter remains at present, and a tank for blue smelting is found in the forest. In the vicinity there were Kanayagawa Mine, Matsukawa Kitayama, Matsukawa Minamiyama, Koike Mine, Nobuo Mine and others.
