勿来炭鉱 (Nakoso Tankō)

勿来炭鉱は福島県いわき市にあった炭鉱。 明治30年、石城採炭合資会社が勿来地区で本格的な採炭を開始。その後経営が三星炭礦に移り、三星炭礦窪田鉱となった。大正5年、立坑開削による増産を計るも、同年に内郷の綴鉱が出水事故により閉山し、経営危機に。大正6年、大日本炭礦が窪田鉱を買収して勿来鉱とする。第一次世界大戦の好景気に乗るも、戦後の不況により大正10年には平鉱と本山鉱が休山、大正11年には三井鉱山の傘下となる。昭和6年、茨城県の唐虫鉱と高萩鉱を租鉱に移し、直轄鉱は勿来鉱のみとなった。昭和7年、昭和石炭の傘下に入る。 昭和34年、大日本炭礦はビルド炭鉱に指定。昭和39年、南坑を閉鎖し大槻坑での出炭を開始。 昭和41年1月に閉山。 跡地は現在工業団地となっている。 常磐線勿来駅~いわき市勿来酒井字出蔵(いでくら)に大日本炭鉱勿来鉱専用鉄道が引かれていた。明治39年開設。初代専用軌道は軌間609mmであった。昭和18年移設。昭和32年に609mmから1067mm。昭和41年11月11日廃止。

Nakoso Coal Mine

Nakoso coal mine was a coal mine in Iwaki-shi, Fukushima prefecture. In the Meiji 30, the Ishiro Coal mining joint-stock company started full-scale coal mining in the Nakoro district. After that, management shifted to Samsung Coal Mine and became Samsung Coal Kobuki Tanuma. Showa 7 enters under the affiliation of Showa coal. In 1954, Dai Nippon Coal Mine was designated as a build coal mine. In 1964, the South Mine was closed and the coal was started at the Otsuki pit. Closed mountain in January 1964. The site is now an industrial park. Joban Line Nakoso Station - Iwaki City Nakosaki Sakai Ishigura (Ikura) was dedicated to the Dai Nippon Coal Mine Nakoso mine railway. Established in 1898. The original dedicated orbit was a gauge 609 mm. Relocated in 1965. In the Showa 32 year from 609 mm to 1067 mm. Abolished November 11, 1964.
