(Kaitei Kyō)

Submarine bridge (abolished bridge in Aikawa-cho)

Kanagawa prefecture Aibo-gun Abikawa-cho lost bridge. It is known under the name "submarine bridge". A bridge like a jetty falls on the way and is in a state of missing teeth, and it can not reach the place crossing the river. There are pier link marks still in the river. The place name here is Aikawa Town Tsunoda Miyama (Sumita no Yayama), and the area called the ocean floor (Oko) is located on the right bank of the Tsunoda Ohashi Bridge to the west. The bridge connecting this sea floor and Tokura is the original submarine bridge, and the signboard of "vehicle passport prohibition" seems to have been diverted from the original submarine bridge. Between 1965 and 1968 both of the bridges were healthy, the original submarine bridge was abolished by 1983-1987, and the bridges of Mt. Nagayama mistakenly called a submarine bridge by 1992-1995 were also abolished. It seems that it was superseded by the Tsunoda Ohashi (Sumita Ohashi) completed from 1983 to 1987.
