市場大橋 (Shijō Ōhashi)

市場大橋は神奈川県横浜市神奈川区の橋。中央卸売市場専用道路だった。 1969年(昭和44年)6月開通。慢性的な交通渋滞を回避して市場関係者が配達に利用するための橋だった。 2011年(平成23年)3月の東日本大震災で被災し、損傷を受け、2014年3月までにJR貨物線の上部橋桁が撤去された。 中央部分だけが欠けた廃橋として残っていたが、2017年3月までに残りも完全に撤去する予定だという。

Market Bridge

Market Ohashi is a bridge in Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture. It was a road dedicated to the central wholesale market. 1969 (Showa 44) June opening. It was a bridge for market participants to use for delivery for avoiding chronic traffic congestion. It was damaged by the Great East Japan Great Earthquake of March 2011 and was damaged and the upper bridge girder of the JR freight line was removed by March 2014. Although it was left as the abolished bridge where only the center part was missing, it is said that it is planned to completely remove the remainder by March 2017.
