(Ate Kōzan)

Abu Mine

The Asu mine was a mine in Hakusan city, Ishikawa prefecture. From 1887, copper, pyrite, chalcopyrite, black copper ore, and spotted copper ore were mined. Closed mountain in 1931. Although it was originally a different entity from the Omeokoya mine, it was said that in the Meiji 40s, the Asu mine was merged in the form of being absorbed by the Oshio mine. The site is Torigoe Dainichi Sports Land and there are no conspicuous remnants, but memorial monuments remain before Dainichi Lodge.
