三池炭鉱四山坑は大牟田市と荒尾市の境界付近にあった炭鉱。 1965（昭和40）年開坑、1987（昭和62）年閉鉱。比較的新しい炭鉱である。 1996年に港沖立坑が解体され、その後も一部の施設跡が残っていたが、既にほとんどの遺構が撤去されているらしい。
Miike coal mine Soyama pit was a coal mine near the boundary between Omuta City and Arao City. Opening in 1965, closing ore in 1987 (Showa 62). It is a relatively new coal mine. In 1996, the harbor offshore shaft was dismantled, and some of the facilities traces remained thereafter, but it seems that most of the remains have already been removed.
