(Buna Shūraku)

Takina Village (Shiga Prefecture)

There is also the theory that Heike's soldier lost in the battle of Genpei settled down. In 1889 (Meiji 22), it became Takina Takinomoto village Sakata gun, became a part of Hikone city in 1952 (Showa 27). All the shops were farmers shipping burdock and taro and others to Yonehara village, and many of the villagers earned their living by woodworking and charcoiling. Because the mountainous irrigation and transportation is an inconvenient land, residents who took off after the Pacific War became abandoned one after another. Several houses remain, some of which are collapsed. Toyota Hiace 's scrapped cars are left unattended. Wakamiya Shrine remains in addition to Sekiji Temple, and even now festivals are being held by former residents.
