土倉鉱山 (Tsuchikura Kōzan)

土倉鉱山(つちくらこうざん)は滋賀県長浜市(旧・伊香郡木之本町)にある鉱山跡。「T倉鉱山」等として紹介されていることもある。 明治40年に発見、明治43年より田中鉱業(株)が銅、硫化鉄、少量の金・銀、微量の鉛を採掘。昭和9年に日窒鉱業が鉱山を買収し近代化が図られた。 当時は現在の鉱山跡より2kmほど北に位置していたが、豪雪地域のため冬季に雪害により事故が多発し、狭い谷間のため鉱山の設備拡充が出来なかったことから、昭和15年にすべての設備を出口倉に新設し、廃村となった。 昭和17年には月産100tの選鉱場が建設された、昭和32年頃には200tに拡張。 昭和38年に銅鉱石が貿易自由化されると海外からの安い鉱石が流入、採算が合わなくなり、昭和40年に閉山となった。
