足尾線廃線区間 (Ashiosen Hai Sen Kukan)

足尾線は現在のわたらせ渓谷線の前身となった国鉄路線。足尾銅山関連施設跡の一つである。 間藤駅 - 足尾本山駅が未成区間となっている。1987年まで貨物線として営業。1989年にJR線として廃止されるまでは休止状態。以後はわたらせ渓谷鐵道の免許線(未開業線)となったが、1998年に免許が失効し名実ともに廃線となった。 神土駅(現・神戸駅) - 草木駅 - 沢入駅が草木ダムの建設に伴う付替えにより旧線が廃線となった。 地図は足尾本山駅。

Ashio line abolished line section

The Ashio line is the national rail line which became the predecessor of the present Watari Ridge Line. It is one of the Ashio copper mine related facilities trace. The Naito station - Ashio Motoyama station is an unfinished section. Opened as a freight line until 1987. It is in a dormant state until it is abolished as JR line in 1989. After that it became the licensing line of the Watase Valley Railway (unopened line), but in 1998 the license expired and became the abolished line with the name. Shinkansen station (present · Kobe station) - Kusaki station - Sawarimashi station replaced the old line due to the construction of the grass dam, the old line became a disused line.
