小百鉱山 (Shō Hyaku Kōzan)

小百鉱山(おびゃくこうざん)は栃木県日光市にあった鉱山。 慶長19(1614)年発見。近代に入り明治35(1905)年に発見、開坑。その後鉱業権は点々とし、 明治40(1907)年に小百鉱山合資会社、大正3(1914)年より小林鉱業株式会社が経営、最盛期を迎える。大正9(1920)年休山。その後再開され同和鉱業(株)により銅が採掘されるが昭和20(1945)年閉山。 複数の坑口跡、鉱山施設跡が残る。

Small hundred mines

A small hundred mines (Omakuzo-zan) was a mine in Nikko city, Tochigi prefecture. Detected in Keicho 19 (1614) year. In the modern era discovered in 1905 and opened. Afterwards mining rights were pointed out, in the Meiji 40 (1907) the small hundred mine joint-stock company, Kobayashi Mining Co., Ltd. from the Taisho 3 (1914) management, the peak will be at its peak. It was closed in Taisho 9 (1920). Then it was resumed and copper was mined by Dowa Mining Co., Ltd., but closed in 1945 (1945). Multiple well head marks and remains of mining facilities remain.
