桃花台新交通桃花台線 (Momo Kadai Shin Kōtsū Tōkadaisen)

桃花台新交通桃花台線(とうかだいしんこうつうとうかだいせん)は愛知県小牧市にあったAGT路線。 起点である小牧(こまき)駅(愛知県小牧市中央一丁目)から終点である桃花台東(とうかだいひがし)駅(愛知県小牧市城山3丁目)の間7.4 kmを結んでいた。桃花台新交通が運営し、全線高架で、桃花台センター駅付近は地下を走っていた。 1991年3月、小牧市の桃花台ニュータウンの開発に伴い開業。 料金が高かったこともあり利用客から不満の声が上がり、赤字経営が続いていたという。 2006年10月に廃止。 2015年10月に全線解体が決まり、中央自動車道上に架かる高架の撤去工事が開始される。2020年現在、小牧駅にて解体工事らしき作業が開始されている。 桃花台ニュータウンは近年になり地盤沈下が見つかり、人口が減少傾向となっている。

Momokadai New Transit Momokadai Line

The Tokadai New Transit Tokadai Line is an AGT line located in Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture. There was a 7.4 km connection between Komaki Station (Komaki Station, Chuo, Aichi Prefecture), the starting point, and Tokadai Higashi Station (3, Shiroyama, Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture), the ending point. It was operated by Momokadai New Transit, was elevated on the whole line, and ran underground near Momokadai Center Station. Opened in March 1991 with the development of Momokadai New Town in Komaki City. It was reported that customers were dissatisfied due to the high price and that the company was operating in the red. Abolished in October 2006. In October 2015, the entire line was dismantled, and the removal work for the elevated over the Chuo Expressway began. As of 2020, demolition work has begun at Komaki Station. In recent years, Momokadai New Town has seen land subsidence, and its population is on a downward trend.
