大久喜鉱山 (Ōguki Kōzan)

大久喜鉱山は、愛媛県喜多郡内子町大久喜にあった銅山。 発見は1830年頃と伝えられる。1934(昭和9)年頃より昭和鉱業が採掘開始。1937(昭和12)年には坑口近くの選鉱場から県道に面した貯鉱場までインクラインが完成。国内有数の金属鉱山となり、300人近くの従業員が働き社宅には200世帯ほどが暮らし、集会所「銀会館」では映画などが上映されたという。 安価な輸入鉱石の増大、資源枯渇などにより1971(昭和46)年閉山。 その後、廃墟化していたが、1997年に跡地を利用したレジャーランドが開業し、選鉱所施設が一般公開されていたが、これも閉鎖され、レジャー施設は解体された。2006(平成18)年より鉱山施設の解体が始まった。 大型施設は解体された模様ながら、山の斜面に残る選鉱所の基礎、ズリ跡、坑道入口跡、事務所や住居跡が残る。

Okuki mine

Closed mountain in 1971 (Showa 46) due to an increase in cheap import ore, exhaustion of resources, etc. Although it was ruined after that, leisure land which used the site in 1997 opened, and the facilities of the mining facilities were opened to the public, but this was also closed and the leisure facilities were dismantled. Dismantling of mining facilities started in 2006 (Heisei 18). While large-scale facilities are dismantled, the foundations of the mining stations that remain on the slope of the mountain, slippery, trail entrance marks, offices and residence marks remain.
