千町鉱山 (Senjō Kōzan)

千町鉱山(せんじょうこうざん)は愛媛県西条市にあった鉱山。 日本窒素肥料により銅が採掘された。大正期に閉山。 鉱石はトロッコで索道場に運搬され、索道で対岸の荒川八之川地区まで運ばれ、そこから国道194号の前身である日本窒素肥料馬車軌道により、船形地区の五差路西まで輸送され馬車に積み替えられていたという。 ズリ跡や鉱山機器類のほか、現在も坑道内部にトロッコ軌道が残っている。
