横谷小学校(三次市) (Yokotani Shōgakkō)

横谷小学校は広島県三次市(旧・布野村)にあった学校。 1878(明治20)年創立、1996(平成8)年に現在地に移転。2006年、三次市立布野小学校へ統合され閉校。 珍しい形の木造校舎が残り、現在は横谷ふるさとセンターとして活用されている。コスプレイベント等にも利用されているらしい。蒸気機関車D51の動輪が保存されている。 なお、移転前の旧校舎跡が旧道沿いにあり、校舎は解体されているが体育館が残っている。 地図は横谷ふるさとセンター、☆マークは旧体育館。

Yokoya Elementary School (Miyagi)

Yokoya Elementary School is a school located in Miya-shi, Hiroshima Prefecture (formerly Fonto village). Established in 1878 (Meiji 20), moved to current location in 1996 (Heisei 8). In 2006, it was integrated into Miyoshi Municipal Funo Elementary School and closed. A rare form of wooden school building remains, which is now being used as a Yokotani furusato center. It seems that it is also used for cosplay events and others. The steering wheel of the steam locomotive D 51 is preserved. In addition, the former school building remains before the relocation is along the old road, the school building has been dismantled, but the gymnasium remains.
