弥高銅山、玉島鉱山 (Yataka Dōzan , Tamashima Kōzan)

弥高銅山、玉島鉱山は岡山県倉敷市と小田郡矢掛町にまたがる弥高山にあった鉱山。 南北にそれぞれ鉱脈があり、北側の弥高鉱山は江戸初期から、南側の玉島鉱山(中山鉱山)は1878(明治11)年から採掘が始まった。 1949年まで銅、鉛、亜鉛が採掘されていた。 ズリ山の他、複数の坑口が残り、うち一つは現在も開口しているという。

Yaaka Copper Mountain, Tamashima Mine was a mine in Mt. Takayama stretching over Kurashiki-shi, Oda-gun, Yageto-cho, Okayama Prefecture. Mine vein was located in the north and south respectively, the Yaitaka mine in the north side was mined from the early Edo period, and the Tamashima mine in the south (Nakayama mine) started mining in 1878 (Meiji 11) year. Copper, lead and zinc were mined until 1949. In addition to Mt. Zuri, there are several wellheads, one of which is currently open.
