八百津発電所 (Yaotsu Hatsuden Sho)

八百津発電所(名古屋電燈 木曽川発電所)は、岐阜県加茂郡八百津町八百津にあった水力発電所。1911年(明治44年)竣工、1974年(昭和49年)に廃止。当時としては日本有数の水力発電所だった。 発電所本館、放水口発電所ならびに水槽、余水路と土地が「旧八百津発電所施設」として国の重要文化財に指定されており、現在は旧八百津発電所資料館として活用されている。

Yaotsu Power Station

The Yaesu Power Station (Nagoya Electric Lighting Kisogawa Power Station) was a hydroelectric power plant located in Yaotsu, Yagazu-cho, Kamo-gun, Gifu Prefecture. Completed in 1911 (Meiji 44), abolished in 1974 (Showa 49). At that time it was one of the leading hydropower stations in Japan. The power station main building, the discharge outlet power plant, the aquarium, the spillway and the land are designated as important national cultural assets as the "former Yaesu power station facility", and now it is utilized as the former Yaotsu power station data center There.
