赤山鉱山は山形県上山市にあった鉱山。 江戸時代初期に金、銀、銅などが採掘され、南陽の金山鉱山と共に土岐氏の資金源の一つだったという。近代以降は銅・硫化鉄鉱が採掘され、1967年閉山。 現在も排液処理の施設が稼働している。 赤山中腹に古い施設跡が見られる。 付近には柏木鉱山（赤山鉱山より西3kmだが空地が残るのみ）、不平鉱山があった。
Akayama mine was a mine in Kamiyama city, Yamagata prefecture. Gold, silver, copper, etc. were mined in the early Edo period and was said to be a source of funds for Mr. Toki along with the Nanoyo Jinshan mine. Copper and iron sulphide mined from the modern era, closed in 1967. The waste liquid treatment facility is still in operation. Old facility traces are seen in Akayama Midnight. In the vicinity of the Kashiwagi mine (only 3 km west of the Akayama mine but only the open area remains), there was a mare mine.
