満沢鉱山 (Mitsuzawa Kōzan)

満沢鉱山は山形県最上郡最上町にあった鉱山。 徳川時代より金が掘られたとも言われる。 近代に入り1912(大正元年)より採掘。鉱業権が転々とした後、1933(昭和8)年に日本鉱業が満沢鉱山の鉱業権を買い上げる、翌年より本格的な探鉱と採掘を開始。1934(昭和18)年には粗鉱1万345tを産出した。主に銅と亜鉛が採掘され、東小国村最大級の鉱山となった。 終戦後一時休山したが、1948(昭和23)年より再開。1963(昭和38)年閉山。 山中に大規模なコンクリート遺構が残り、ズリも広大に堆積している。

Misawa Mine

Misuzawa mine was a mine in Mogami-cho, Mogami-gun, Yamagata prefecture. It is said that gold was dug from the Tokugawa period. Mining from modern 1912 (the first year Taisho). It was temporarily closed after the end of the war, but resumed from 1948 (Showa 23) year. Closed mountain in 1963 (Showa 38). Large-scale concrete remains remains in the mountains, and slippery has also accumulated extensively.
