金ノ弦岬灯台 (Kimu No Tsuru Misaki Tōdai)

金ノ弦岬灯台は山口県下関市にある廃灯台。 1871(明治4)年竣工。建設当時は関門海峡の浅瀬に「礁標」として建てられた。1920(大正9)年、現在位置に移設。 灯台の父と言われる英国人技士ブラントンの設計による、西洋技術をもって国内で初めて設置された礁標である。 2000年に廃灯となり、現在は下関市の重要文化財として保存されている。

Kannonpoaki Lighthouse

Kanonagaki Lighthouse is a waste lighthouse located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Completion completed in 1871 (Meiji 4). At the time of construction it was built as a "reef mark" in the shallow of the Kanmon Strait. In 1920 (Taisho 9), moved to the current position. It is the first reef mark established in the country with Western technology by the design of British engineer Branton who is said to be the father of the lighthouse. It became a waste lamp in 2000, and it is currently preserved as an important cultural asset of Shimonoseki.
