宇部紡績所は山口県宇部市にあった工場。 1917（大正6）年、匿名組合宇部紡織所として創立。1943（昭和18年）に呉海軍工廠宇部分工場となり、魚雷の部品などを製造していた。1945（昭和20）年7月の宇部空襲で消失し、焼けた煉瓦だけが残った。 煉瓦壁は、戦後も建物の一部や塀として使用されていたが、2000（平成12）年、琴芝兼営住宅の整備に伴い、壁のみを産業遺跡として残すこととなり、移設保存されている。 琴芝れんが広場として整備され管理されている。
The Ube spinning factory was a factory located in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. In 1917 (Taisho 6), founded as anonymous association Ube spinning house. In 1943 (Showa 18) he became the Kure Navy Arsenal Ube Parts Factory and was manufacturing torpedo parts and others. It disappeared in the Ube air raid in July 1945 and only the burnt brick remained. Although the brick wall was used as a part of the building and a fence after the war, in 2000 (Heisei 12), with the maintenance of the Kotoshiba cum-homes, only the wall was left as an industrial ruin and it has been relocated and preserved. It is maintained and managed as Kotobuki brick plaza.
