旧平野本店店舗兼主屋 (Kyū Heiya Honten Tempo Ken Omo Ya)

旧平野本店店舗兼主屋は宮城県気仙沼市にある商店跡。国道284号と主要地方道気仙沼唐桑線が合流する交差点に位置する。 旧平野本店は大正初期創業の洋品雑貨店で、後に味噌醤油を販売で知られるようになった。 した商家です。 旧店舗は1933(昭和8)年頃の建築で、住宅は1921(大正10)年頃に築、木造2階建で南側の洋風店舗と北側の寄棟造鉄板葺き住宅から成る。 店舗は2階に半円アーチ窓を並べ、大ぶりのパラペットがつくなど、華やかな外観となっている。 その後、米穀商業組合、日立家電月賦販売などにテナント貸しされ、最後は大内料理学院として利用されていた。 現在はインディゴ気仙沼が入っており、2018(平成30)年11月に国登録文化財となっている。
