宮崎鉱山 (Miyazaki Kōzan)

宮崎鉱山は宮城県加美郡加美町にあった鉱山。 亜鉛・鉛・重晶石・石膏・マンガンが明治時代より採掘された。 茗荷沢、湯の倉、梵天、萱森、田代などの鉱床があり総称して宮崎鉱山と呼ばれる。 明治末頃に茗荷沢で石膏が発見され、大正初期に湯の倉で鉛亜鉛が発見された。また、昭和26年より梵天でマンガン石膏が開発されている。 湯の倉には坑口跡やズリ跡が見られる。梵天では現在も露天掘り跡に露頭があり石膏が採集できるという。

Miyazaki mine

Miyazaki mine was a mine in Kami-cho, Kami-gun, Miyagi prefecture. Zinc, lead, barycete, gypsum and manganese were mined from the Meiji era. There are ore deposits such as lorries, hot springs, Brahma, Kayamori and Tashiro, and they are collectively called the Miyazaki mine. Gypsum was discovered in literature around the end of the Meiji era, and lead zinc was discovered in a hot spring store in the early Taisho era. Manganese gypsum has been developed at Brahma since 1956. In the warehouse there are marks of the wellhead and slippage. At Brahma there are still outcrops in the open pit marker and gypsum can be collected.
