飯盛鉱山 (Meshimori Kōzan)

飯盛鉱山は、和歌山県紀の川市にある鉱山跡。 明治11年に発見され、大正8年8月に古河鉱業が買収。銅を含む硫化鉄の採掘が行われたが、昭和45年5月に閉山(昭和47年とも)。 現在もコンクリート遺構や選鉱場跡地が残り、一部敷地は事務用品の製造工場に転用され、坑口から出る酸性水の中和処理も行われている。

Iimori mine

Iimori mine is a mining site in Kinokawa city, Wakayama prefecture. It was discovered in Meiji 11, and Furukawa Mining acquired it in August 1988.
