鉛山鉱山(白浜町) (Namariyama Kōzan)

鉛山鉱山(かなやまこうざん)は和歌山県西牟婁郡白浜町にあった鉱山。瀬戸鉛山鉱山とも呼ばれる。 金・銅・鉛・亜鉛が採掘された。 天文12年8月の鉄砲伝来以降、銃弾に用いる鉛の需要が増大するようになったという。 1954(昭和29)年時点で昭和鉱業(株)が経営していたが、鉛の産出量は微量で主に亜鉛が採掘されていたらしい。現在の白浜ゴルフ倶楽部、旧白浜空港の西側の地域に約三百の鉱穴(まぶあな)があったという。 史跡として管理され、三段壁洞窟内に鉛山鉱山鉱道跡が展示されている。

Lead Mountain Mine (Shirahama-cho)

Lead mountain mine (Kanayama Kozan) is a mine in Shirahama cho Nishimuro-gun, Wakayama Prefecture. It is also called Seto Lead Mountain Mine. Gold, copper, lead and zinc were mined. After the arrival of a gun in August 12, it is said that the demand for lead used for bullets has increased. It was operated by Showa Mining Co., Ltd. as of 1954 (Showa 29), but it seems that the production of lead was trace, mainly zinc was mined. The current Shirahama Golf Club, about 300 holes in the western part of the former Shirahama airport (pila) was said to have been. It is managed as a historic site and the Lead Mountain Mine Road Site is displayed in the three-wall cave.
