陸軍佐倉連隊兵営跡 (Rikugun Sakura Rentai Heiei Ato)

陸軍佐倉連隊兵営跡は、千葉県佐倉市城内町にある戦争遺構。 佐倉城址公園は江戸時代の佐倉城跡を整備した公園で、明治の廃城令により城は解体され、陸軍の駐屯地として兵営が置かれていた。 戦後、兵営の兵舎は引揚者住宅や新制中学校などに使用されたが、昭和50年代に国立歴史民俗博物館の建設が始まると、兵営関連の建造物はほとんどが解体されてしまった。 現在公園内には、佐倉城の遺構と共に、衛兵所跡、土台のみ残る兵営の便所跡、佐倉陸軍病院跡、「昭和十八年十月」「砲隊」といった落書きが彫られているモッコク(県指定天然記念物)、車道の碑、佐倉兵営跡の碑、弾薬庫の跡(コンクリートの一部が残る)、兵士が高所からの飛び下り訓練に使用した訓練用の12階段、軍犬・軍馬の墓など佐倉連隊兵営関連の遺構も数多く残されている。
