日立航空機大網地下工場跡 (Hitachi Kōkūki Ōami Chika Kōjō Ato)

日立航空機大網地下工場跡は、千葉県山武郡大網白里町にある戦争遺構。第二次大戦末期、戦局の悪化に伴い、日立航空機千葉工場の疎開工場として建設され、海軍零式戦闘練習機の機体と発動機の部品が生産された。 1944(昭和19)年12月頃建設開始。地下・半地下の施設から成り、地下工場は海抜30~70mほどの笠森層に造られた幅4m、高さ4mのかかまぼこ型施設で、5箇所に工場に分けられ総延長3kmであった。 半地下向上(伏土向上)は間口10m、奥行き20~30mで厚板を五重六重に張って土砂で覆い、柴や草で偽装した。 工場建設は軍、日立航空、大林組により厳しい統制下で行われ、軍の設営隊や社員、工員のほかに婦人会や児童ら、朝鮮人労働者らが動員されたという。 現在も一部遺構が残存しているが、水没している。

The remains of the Hitachi aircraft omentum underground factory is a war remains in Oimachirashiri Town in Sanbu District, Chiba Prefecture. At the end of the Second World War, as the battle worsened, it was constructed as an evacuation factory of the Hitachi Aircraft Chiba Factory, and the aircraft of the Navy Zero Type Fighter Training aircraft and parts of the engine were produced. Construction began around December 1944 (Showa 19). It consists of basement and semi-underground facilities, and the underground factory was a Kamaboko type facility with a width of 4 m and a height of 4 m built in the Kasamori Formation about 30 - 70 m above sea level, divided into five plants and total extension 3 km. Semi-underground improvement (improvement of fertilizer soil) is 10 meters in frontage, 20 to 30 m in depth, covered with thick earth plates five or six times, covered with soil and disguised with bush or grass. Factory construction was carried out under strict control by the military, Hitachi Airlines, Obayashi, and women's associations, children and Korean workers were mobilized in addition to the military setting corps, employees, and workers. Some remains are still present, but they are submerged.
