(Umetani Kōzan)

Umeya mine

Umeya mine was a mine in Fukuchiyama city, Kyoto Prefecture. Copper, lead and zinc were mined. Mining zinc blende mine was mined from around Meiji 40 and picked for hand picking and sent to Tajima's Ikuno Ginzan, but it became a holiday owner, and it started again in 1952 but it was closed again. It is unknown though it seems that remains of the well head gut, slippery trace, gunpowder storehouses, hopper traces, etc. remain. The map is an approximate point.
